“Sometimes you find yourself in the middle of nowhere, and sometimes in the middle of nowhere, you find yourself”

A luxurious tour of Rajasthan, enjoying royal palaces and princely hospitality

The Maharajah Marathon is an exclusive and supremely luxurious tour of the royal palaces and stunning temples of Rajasthan, known as the colourful state and renowned for its vibrant lifestyle, landscape and history. Also travelling through Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, our 3500km route will take you from the Taj Mahal to the Rann of Kutch and beyond, enjoying privileged access and princely hospitality as you visit gorgeous palaces, stunning temples, historic forts, beautiful national parks and thrilling lion and tiger reserves. With first-class accommodation, short daily driving distances and no fewer than seven rest days, this is a non-competitive and highly social touring event, devoted to leisurely sightseeing and sensuous enjoyment in the company of friends old and new. Suitable for novices and experienced crews alike in cars of all ages – vintage, classic and modern – the route will be set out in a comprehensive and highly detailed roadbook and there will be no trick navigation, rough terrain, high speeeds or night driving.

This very special event – strictly limited to no more than 30 cars – has been organized in partnership with leading Indian tour experts Deneb and Pollux, but of course we will also be accompanied by our own very experienced staff, including fully qualified mechanical and medical personnel and a luggage transport service. Devoted to first-class customer care, we are happy to offer you every possible assistance with pre-event preparation, insurance and car shipping.
