We have very encouraging news about Bron Burrell and Puff the World Cup Rally Maxi, aka Puff the Magic Wagon, who together drew a fantastic response on the Rally Round stand at last weekend’s Goodwood Revival Meeting. With our assistance, Bron and team-mate Tina Kerridge are planning to return to South America with Puff in 2020, marking the 50th anniversary of the legendary 1970 London-Mexico World Cup Rally and aiming to reach the finish line at last (they retired from the original event in Argentina).
Such was the enthusiasm at Goodwood for their Mission to Mexico 2020 campaign, it is now likely that at least five more cars will accompany them, including two original World Cup Rally entries that failed to reach Lisbon in 1970.
After just three days at Goodwood, this is a super result. It looks as if the Mission to Mexico 2020 is shaping up to be a rally in its own right, and as we’re already heading to South America for our thrilling Flight of the Condor Rally in November-December 2019, Bron, Tina, Puff and friends will be able to count on the comprehensive event support that Rally Round is renowned for. Another great driving adventure beckons!
