One of the most iconic events in the UK motoring calendar, Rally Round heads to the Goodwood Revival this weekend for the three-day historic motorsport and lifestyle festival.
As well as live motorsport racing from classic and vintage cars and motorcycles, the event is also known for the glamour of the period dress, the incredible theming, live music and highly social aspect.
Rally Round once again has a stand (Number 311) in the ‘Over the Road’ section, opposite the Bonhams Auction marquee.
Adorning the stand will be Tim Wilkinson’s 1979 Camel-liveried Range Rover which has recently returned from the inaugural Trans-Himalayan Adventure through China, Tibet and Nepal.
There will also be beautiful ‘postcards’ showcasing the amazing parts of the globe that Rally Round will be visiting over the next three years. These include India, Tibet, Mongolia, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Japan.
Friends past, present and future are invited to visit the stand to pick up a set of postcards of their own as well as taking a copy of the latest brochures.
The Rally Round team will be on the stand on Friday and Saturday before heading for France to prepare for the Paris:Biarritz Rally. On Sunday, sweep mechanics Karim De Mynn and David Ellison will lead some of the UK competitors from the Goodwood Revival to the coast to make the crossing over the channel to France.
Rally Round offers amazing adventures all over the world, creating unique events that combine the passion for historic motoring with the adventure of global travel.
