Every crew and all but one of the cars that left the Paris-Amsterdam Rally startline in Chantilly on Monday June 18 reached the finish six days later, after a spectacular 1,236km competition through France, Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Overall and Classic Category winners Steve and Julia Roberstson (pictured below) led from Day 2 in their 1955 Triumph TR3, albeit by a small margin, and although the Vintage contest was tighter, Richard Dresner and Colin Mackenzie (above) eventually scored an emphatic victory, winning the Charles Jarrott Trophy in their 1934 Talbot AV 105. A full list of award winners and detailed day-by-day results may be found on our Paris-Amsterdam webpage, along with event videos, a blog and an overview of the historic events that inspired the rally.
Rally Round's next period-dressed European rally will run from Paris to Biarritz in September 2019; click here for more details.
